The Chalon Champforgeuil airport provides level 2 fire and rescue services (SSLIA) every day from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm local time. Chalon Champforgeuil airport has a 1440m runway, accessible to all regional, business and leisure aircraft. The airport has been operated since 1 August 2008 by the SECA (the Chalon-Champforgeuil Airport operating company), a subsidiary of the Canadian group SNC-Lavalin, under a public service delegation arrangement with the greater Chalon authority (the Communauté d’Agglomération).
